Composition Project

For this assignment I took 5 pictures that exemplify good design and 5 pictures that do not.

Compositions that are designed well unify the different elements of design. In fact, unification is the 7th element of good composition.

1st picture: emphasizes variety and dominance
2nd picture: utilizes both repetition and variety while also maintaining balance
3rd picture: shows movement in lines, perspective and continue the idea of variety among similarity
4th picture: shows perspective in relation to the human figure and maintains good vertical balance
5th picture: utilizes uneven balance and movement in lines and color
